Plenty of Talent Set For Penn State on Saturday: Kevin Dare Invitational Preview

There are plenty of contenders in the mile at Kevin Dare. Among the entries and contenders for the win include Springfield (Delco)'s Joe Cardie, Wyomissing's Joe Cullen, West Chester Rustin's Brandon Hontz, Pennsbury's Eric Kersten, North Penn's Brendan O'Toole, Hempfield's Coby Mattes, South Fayette's Sam Snodgrass, and Conestoga's Carlos Shultz.

In the 800 meters, we'll see of strong contingent of half milers. Penn Trafford's Nick Wagner, who threw down a PA#1 and US#3 1:56.91 in 800 last week at the Marine Corps Classic in New York will look to improve upon that result. He'll face some good competition at Penn State from the likes of Lower Dauphin's Jared Giannascoli, Radnor's Peter Cooke, Lebanon's Derin Klick, and Pennridge's Matt Eissler.

In the 3000 meters, Lower Dauphin's Colton Cassel, Jersey Shore's Isaac Davis, and South Fayette's Aaron Pfeil will matchup in a race between runners from different parts of PA.
