Chester County Indoor Championships
Jeremy Jennings of Downingtown East continued his hot start to his senior season. Jennings won the 200 meters in 22.88, a PA#7 (though the times faster than his came on banked tracks). Downingtown East also captured the 4x200-meter relay in a time of 1:34.24
In the 800 meters, Rustin's Brandon Hontz, not far removed from his win in the mile at Kevin Dare, took the win in a time of 1:58.52, a PA#6.
Rustin's Connor Cummings won the shot put with a throw of 50-8.25.
Porsha Miles of Coatesville took the win in the 200 meters (26.47) and finished second in the 55 meters (7.41). The winner in that 55-meter dash was Conestoga's Grace Lanouette, who won in a time of 7.32, a PA#5.
Coatesville out-dueled West Chester East in the girls' 4x800, winning in a PA#8 10:02.40. WC East ran a PA#10 10:06.69 for second place. Coatesville also won the girls' DMR in 13:17.
