Ocean Breeze Invitational - BOYS RELAYS RECAP
We didn't see the times like we saw at the New Balance Games, but Saturday proved the PA boys depth in the 4x200-meter relay. Downingtown East was the top finishing team in the finals, running a 1:30.81 to take second. Glen Mills was third in 1:31.37. North Penn DNF'd in the finals, but still ran a solid PA#7 1:32.39. The Haverford School just missed the finals, running a PA#9 1:32.82 in the trials.
Glen Mills kept it rolling into the 4x400. The Bulls took second in the field, running a 3:23.45 for a PA#2 time. Pennridge was third in a PA#4 3:27.04, CB East was fourth in a PA#5 3:27.64, and the Haverford School was fifth in a PA#6 3:27.81.
Methacton ran 19:55.05 in the 4x1600 meter relay to assume the state lead in that event.
