Biggest Regular Season Indoor Meet in PA is Loaded: PTFCA Indoor Track Carnival Preview

Boys' Relays Preview

With relays, it's always hard to know exactly who is bring 'A' squads to the line, but nonetheless, we should expect some top tier teams in the relays on Saturday. We'll try to give some insight into the teams to keep an eye on.

The 4x800 will start things off at the Carnival. Pennsbury, currently PA#3, should be a team to watch. They went 8:03 at last month's Millrose Trials and have a really deep mid-distance squad. PA#6 Abington should be tough, as well as Radnor and Ephrata. State College, the reigning state champs and current PA#8 should contend.

The 4x200 should be an open race. Norristown and Wilson (3) have fast squads to watch for. Penn Wood and Susquehanna Township, too, have goos sprint depth. Central Dauphin East is a hungry bunch after a questionable DQ that derailed a would-be victory at Susquehanna a few weeks ago.

Pennsbury, West Chester Rustin, State College, Cheltenham and Penn Wood are among some strong DMR teams that could bust out a quick time come later afternoon on Saturday. To close out the day in the 4x400 meter relay, PA#3 Abington will dual with PA#7 Penn Wood.
