Boys' 4x200-Meter Relay - Saturday, 5:35 P.M.
No one has stopped Imhotep Charter this season in the 4x2. The talented quartet picked up big wins this season at the New Balance Games and last week's Armory Track Invitational. They'll return to the Armory once again on Saturday for the Millrose Games.
The squad holds the US#1 spot after a 1:27.55 at New Balance, and they'll look to drop that time for a possible state record this weekend. Currently, Simon Gratz holds that record with a 1:27.13 from 2005. Ade Jones-Roundtree will run the 55 meters earlier in the day and then he'll cap off his day with the 4x200.
Imhotep's best challenge will come from East Orange, out of New Jersey. Led by hurdles sensation Cory Poole, East Orange has run 1:27.80 this season. Bullis from Maryland is also in the field. They've run 1:28.02 this year. Stay tuned for this one, folks!
