Colonial Relays (VA) - Meet Recap
The rain took its toll on the few PA teams that went down to Virginia for the Colonial Relays at William & Mary over the weekend. Still, some strong performances were turned in.
Madison Langley-Walker of Upper Dublin won the 100 meter hurdles and took second in the triple jump. She clocked a 14.58 in the hurdles to win (watch that race above!) and then jumped 38-11 in the triple. She placed second to Tabb (VA) standout Maya Hanks. For Langley-Walker that TJ is the best in the state so far by over a foot.
She was also apart of Upper Dublin's winning 4x100 meter relay team, which ran a time of 49.60. Upper Darby won the 4x400 meter relay in 4:07.11 and Michelle Brown-Jones won the long jump with a leap of 17-6.75.
In a wild mile run, Wyomissing's Joe Cullen took fourth place, running a very fast 4:19.88. Cullen led for most of the race, but fell victim to a punishing kick from VA star Waleed Suliman, who closed hard in the final 200 meters to win in 4:14.52.

It was an all-LaSalle 800 meters in some very rainy conditions. Evan Addison was the first Explorer across the line there, running a time of 2:00.72. LaSalle also ran away with the win in the 4x800 meter relay, running a time of 8:10.43. LaSalle's Alex Sislo jumped 20-11 to win the long jump.
