Neumann Goretti had a successful trip to the nation's capital, racking up some strong performances to bring back to Pennsylvania.
Janese Lynch swept the throws for a second straight week. The senior threw 36-5 to win the shot put, but she also threw 136-7.5 in the discus to take over the PA#1 spot there.
Sydni Townsend ran 44.80 to take first in the 300 meter hurdles. That's just off her winning time from the PA Track Classic last week. Freshman Mykala Perry ran 58.10 to win the 400 meters. Watch Perry's win above.
Kamil Jihad won an exciting 800 meters with a strong kick. Jihad clocked a 1:56.94, a PA#2. Watch the race below.
NG also ran 49.92 to win the 4x100 meter relay. The Saints won the girls' team title as well.
