Bensalem (Boys) Invitational - Meet Recap

At Bensalem, a few big performances were put down.

Council Rock North's Mike Welde put down a 10.85 in the 100 meters to take second to Paul VI (NJ)'s Antonio Tarantino. Welde also ran a PA#7 of 22.36 in the 200 meters. In the 110 meter hurdles, Pennsbury's Nasan Robbins ran a time of 14.75 to take the win and put him at PA#5.

Harry S. Truman's Sayyid Saunders claimed a pair of wins, following up a big performance at CR North last week. Saunders won the 200 meters in 21.80, a PA#2 that's slightly better than his time from last week. He also ran 50.98 to win the 400 meters.

Pennsbury's Aidan Sauer beat out CR North's Bryan Keller in a good 800 meters. Sauer ran 1:58.96 for the win. Neshaminy's Rusty Kujdych was first in the 1600 meters in 4:27.75 and then he came back to take second in the 3200 meters. CR North's Ryan Campbell picked up the win in the 3200 meters, running a PA#2 of 9:30.74.

Hatboro-Horsham's Nick Marino, the current PA#1, claimed yet another win. Marino cleared 15-3 for the win in the pole vault.

In the throws, Cheltenham's Jean S. Codio threw 172-9 for the win in the javelin and Bensalem's Yobani Moreno threw 158-7 to win the discus.
