The javelin proved to be a good dual. California Area's Marissa Bitonti was first with a throw of 125-8, just a half a foot better than second place Laurel Bristow of Baldwin. Frazier's Khristyne Barch was third with a toss of 122-4. Baldwin's Jasmine Wicks took home gold in both the shot put (36-10) and discus (116-4), continuing her strong start to the season.
Baldwin's Casey Conboy won the 3200 meters in a time of 9:57.22. His teammate Arlen Hooks was first in the 300 meter hurdles in 40.73.
Upper Saint Clair's Harvey Kane was a double winner, taking firsts in the high jump (6-0) and the long jump (22-1).
