GIRLS' PREVIEW

The 1600 meter should be exciting with a number of girls chasing the 5 minute barrier. Tatnall's Keelin Hays is the top seed, but Perkiomen Valley's Annie Glodek, Notre Dame's Jessica Schneider, Conestoga's Dominique Shultz, OJR's Ally Brunton, McCaskey's Lianna Tirado, Country Day of the Sacred Heart's Emma Seifried, and Harriton's Tasha Greene make up a strong PA contingent in the field.

In the 800 meters, watch for Downingtown East's Emma Planck, as she'll race Schneider, Glodek, and Brunton among others.

Perkiomen Valley's Christina Warren will be looking to follow up a great meet at the Bulllis Bulldog Invite down in Maryland over the weekend. Warren, a sophomore, is the top seed in the 100 hurdles, long jump, and triple jump in what will be a busy day for her.

In the sprints, Conestoga's Grace Lanouette is the one to watch in the 100 meters and the 200 meters. She has the potential to shoot up the state rankings for sure.

Haverford's Cecilia Katcavage is the top seed in the shot put and javelin. Germantown Friends' Teasha McKoy will challenge her in the shot put and she'll also challenge for the win in the discus, in what should be a good battle between her and Villa Maria's Morgan Monteith.

In the high jump, the two top seeds are Henderson's Allison McGlynn and Haverford's Maddie Santoro

BOYS' PREVIEW

The distance events are loaded for Henderson's first invitational of the season. In the 1600 meters, JP McCaskey's Nathan Henderson will race Springfield-Delco's Liam Galligan in what should be a good one. Quakertown's Hudson Delisle, OJR's Liam Conway, and Henderson's Spencer Smucker, along with some talented Delaware harriers, will get in the race as well for what should be some quick times.

Conway is also entered in the 800 meters, which includes the Germantown Friends' crew like Nick Dahl, Jonnie Plass, and Colin Riley. Downingtown West's Chase Semanyk, Kennett's Austin Maxwell, and Upper Darby's Syed Shah are also in the half mile field. Also in the field is Springfield-Delco's Joseph Cardie and Downingtown West's Shaun Bullock.

Bishop Shanahan's Nate Alleyne will look for a big day in the sprints. The senior is entered in the 100 and 200 meters. In the 100 and 200, he'll matchup with Downingtown East's AJ Bills, who just won the event at Rustin. In the 400 meters and 300 meter hurdles, watch for new Villanova commit Keegan Hughes of Shanahan. He's the top seed in both events.

In the triple jump, look out for Strath Haven's Dayo Abeeb, who definitely has the potential to pull out a big jump on Friday.
