AA Girls' 4x400m Relay Preview
Few relays have been more impressive this season than the 4x400 from Neumann Goretti. The Saints dropped an incredible 3:43.61 at the Penn Relays and then ran 3:48.88 to runaway with the District 12 crown last week. It's hard to imagine anyone touching the defending state champs from NG. Their own meet record in 3:49.36 from 2015.
Hickory is the second seed and the only other squad with a sub-4 time. They ran 3:57.52 to win the District 10 title. They have a good stock of quarter milers and should be able to move up from their fourth place finish last year.
Five teams have season best times between 4:03 and 4:05. It'll be a tossup for those squads for those remaining medals. Marion Center, Paul Robeson, Lewisburg Area, Central Cambria, and Athens Area will be in the mix there.
