AA Boys' High Jump Preview

Last year, Notre Dame-Green Pond's Greg Lauray emerged onto the high jump scene seemingly out of no where. By seasons end, Lauray had cleared 7-1 and a few weeks later added a AAA state title. Now Lauray and his NDGP squad moves to AA for this season and the senior will look to add another state title to his name.

Lauray will be favored to take the win, but he'll have some challengers. Salisbury Township's John Reichenbach has had a terrific junior season, where he's turned himself into quite the triple threat jumper. In the high jump, he comes in with a season best of 6-7 and he's been consistently around 6-4 and 6-5.

A number of guys come in with season best's between 6-4 and 6-6. Valley's Darius Johnson and Motivations's Nafese Mack have both jumped over 6-6. New Brighton's Chad Mariotti and Seneca's Brady Smith have been over 6-5, while Hopewell's Dantae Ranieri, Camp Hill's Zack Kuntz, Chestnut Ridge's Phillip Dull, and Caton Area's Connor Hess have all been over 6-4
