AA Girls' Triple Jump Preview
The top ranked girls to watch for is Rachel Horrell of Ligonier Valley with a jump of 38-11. She popped this jump last weekend at districts, adding almost 2 feet to her previous best jump.
As the top seed in the long jump, Breana Gambrell of Athens Area has certainly proved she is a talented jumper. She has jumped 38-2.25 inches and will surely challenge Horrell this weekend.
Look for a 38-foot jumper from Penn Cambria's Lauren Michina. Not far behind is Brenna Cavanaugh of Bentworth. Cavanaugh has jumped 37-5 inches this year.
Seniors Brooke Estadt of Lakeland and Preslee Litzinger of Bishop Guilfoyle will also be hunting medals in the finals. Both ladies have jumped over 37 feet this season.
