GIRLS RECAP
In the small school's race, Sacred Heart Academy's Kayleigh Doyle took the win in a time of 21:37. She beat out Wissahickon's Maddy Hippenstahl, who was second in 21:39. Wissahickon took the team win with 25 points.
Central Bucks East cleaned up in the large school race, taking the first three individual spots and putting five in the top seven. East's Makenna Brophy earned the overall win in a time of 21:02. Cameron Billingsley was second in 21:04 and Claudia Eder took third in 21:09. The Patriots won the team title with just 19 points on the day.
BOYS RECAP
Wissahickon had a great day in the small schools race. Ben Hoyer picked up the individual win, running 16:39 for the victory. His teammate Matt Maiale was second in 16:55. The Trojans scored 18 points to win the team title, too.
Upper Dublin's Ben Brugger had a second strong race in as many weeks. Brugger ran 16:43 to take the large schools race. He was fourth at the Mill Street Run a week prior. Methacton's Matt Varghese was second in 16:54, edging out Avon Grove's Noah Dusseau, who was third in 16:55.
Central Bucks East, led by Cade Sands' fourth place finish took the win with 40 points.
