Counting down the days…
First of all, I am counting down the days until my iron infusion and am crying daily…haha, okay, not really. And then I am counting down the days until our training camp in Portugal! The weather there right now is in the 60s and sunny…PERFECT training weather. Astrid and I are both super psyched to get out there and out of this crap cold weather!!! It is not very conducive to speed training or any type of normal running. Astrid said she can't even imagine what it feels like to run in shorts because she hasn't done so in so long. Hahaha Yeah, I definitely don't remember when the last time was that I wore shorts myself, and I am usually the shorts QUEEN. I always wear shorts! Guess that was also because I lived in NC where they sometimes have ridiculous temperatures there of 70 in January!!!

STRENGTH WORK
I have been lifting for a while now, but I still can't do any pull ups! Hahahha Those of you who know how ridiculous I look when I even attempt to do a pull up…yeah, well I am working on it and by the end of this year I will be able to do 10!!! Because right now I can barely budge so that would be a huge accomplishment! Hah!!! At least the whole core thing is going better than it used to. I feel stronger, (although I look the same,) I can do a lot more sit-ups without getting sore. I guess I will take it one thing at a time and stay patient with everything!
