Evan Arnott of Schuylkill Valley won the shot put (55-3.50) and the discus (176-3). Teammate Gregory Johnson won the long jump (21-2) and the triple jump (43-11.50). On the track, North Penn won the 4x110 meter shuttle hurdles (1:04.79), the distance medley (11:22.84) and 4x100 meter relays (44.34). Wilson (3) won the 800 meter sprint medley (1:37.94), the 4x800 (8:40.48) and the 4x400 meter relays (3:36.63).
For the girls, Methacton ran 1:07.79 to win the 4x100 meter shuttle hurdle relay and ran 51.56 to win the 4x100 meter relay. North Penn won the 4x800 (10:11.73), the 4x200 (1:51.22) and 4x400 meter relays (4:21.66). Indoor high jump state and national champion Cyre Virgo of Fleetwood Area cleared 5-6 to win the high jump. Jocelen Ruth of Kutztown Area won the shot put (35-10.50) and the javelin (124-6). Bre Manzolillo of Scuylkill Valley cleared 11 feet to win the pole vault.
Eric Hertzog of Tamaqua ran 14.5h to win the 110 meter hurdles. Mike Class of Pennridge ran 10.8h to win the 100 meter dash and 22.9. to win the 200 meter dash. He also added a long jump win in 20-0.50. Teammate Joey Logue ran 4:25.0 to win the 1600 meter run and Nick Stenderowicz ran 49.8h to win the 400 meter dash. Their team also added a 43.4h to win the 4x100 meter relay and 3:29.0 to win the 4x400 meter relay.
For the girls, Elizabeth Chikotas of Saucon Valley won the 1600 (5:08) and the 3200 meter runs (11:22). Jody Ann-Evans of Quakertown won the 100 (12.5h) and 200 meter dashes (26.5h). Caitlin Yakas of Sun Valley won the shot put (36-1) and the discus (101-7).
Jeremiah Agrio of Archbishop Ryan ran 14.8 to win the 110 meter hurdles. James Lassiter of Bishop McDevitt ran 40.2 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Cheltenham ran 43.6 to win the 4x100 meter relay, 1:30.8 to win the 4x200 meter relay, and 3:32.8 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Khiry Twyman of Girard College won the long jump with a mark of 22-7. For the girls, Gina Lupica of Villa Joseph Marie ran 14.9 to win the 100 meter hurdles and she was on her team's winning 4x100 meter relay (49.5) and the winning 4x200 meter relay (1:47.2).
Pennridge girls ran 49.2 to win the 4x100 meter relay and also earned victories in the distance medley, the 4x300 meter hurdles, middle distance, 800 meter sprint medley and the 4x400 meter relays. For the boys, Freedom Area won the distance and middle distance medley relays while Bethlehem Catholic won the 4x800 and 4x400 meter relays.
Marshay Ryan of Chambersburg picked up right where she left off from her big indoor state championship jumps double. She won the triple jump with a US#1 mark of 41-1.50 and won the long jump with a mark of 18-7.50. Sarah Firestone of Mercersburg won the javelin with a US#1 mark of 152-1! Indoor shot put state champion Emily Stauffer of Cocalico threw 39-1 to win the shot put. On the track Siani Hinton of Milton Hershey won the 100 (12.62) and 200 meter dashes (26.18). Milton Hershey ran 50.58 to win the 4x100 meter relay. Arianna Camel of Gettysburg ran 15.43 to win the 100 meter hurdles.
For the boys, Kellen Williams of Chambersburg ran 39.47 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Jon Colwell of Mifflin County ran 4:28.88 to win the 1600 meter run. Milton Hershey ran 43.24 to win the 4x100 meter relay. National High Jump silver medalist Ibn Short of Milton Hershey cleared 6-6 to win the high jump. Jhett Janis of Cocalico threw 182-4 to win the javelin ahead of teammate Spencer Moser (181-0).
Naje Benton of Franklin Towne Charter had the best long jump (21-9) and best triple jump (42-3.50) marks on the day. Logan Bailey of West Chester East threw 179-7 to win the javelin. On the track, Wellington Zaza of Garnet Valley ran 40.69 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Ridley ran 1:32.85 to win the 4x200 meter relay. Penn Wood ran 3:30.32 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Strath Haven ran 8:18.15 to win the 4x800 meter relay with indoor mile state champion Jack Huemmler on the squad.
For the girls, Garnet Valley ran 12:42.61 to win the distance medley relay. Upper Darby ran 1:46.60 to win the 4x200 meter relay. Penncreat ran 50.94 to win the 4x100 meter relay. Penn Wood ran 4:05.99 to win the 4x400 meter relay. In the field, Kelly Logan of Penncreat threw 103-9 to win the javelin.
Neely Spence ran a strong strategic race on a difficult, slippery course, maintaining contact after the first of four 2K loops; then using the downhill to solidify a position in the top pack on the downhill approaching the start of the third loop. She moved up to 11th at one point, and then held on for 13th in 25:04 - finishing as the first non-African in the race.
