Vince McNally will return to action sooner, rather than later - that is the plan...

Hampered by recurring knee pain even before he burst onto the cross country scene in PA as the sophomore who chased Craig Miller to a sub-15 at the 2005 Gettysburg Invitatioinal -- Conestoga Valley\'s Vince McNally is expected to return this season.

McNally\'s 15:02 that day served notice that he was a distance talent to be watched. He proceeded to finish a strong 3rd in AAA at last year\'s state championships, and came into the season as one of a handful of runners mentioned as possible state champions in 2006.

But he missed his expected debut at Gettysburg on 9/9. Conestoga Valley Coach Mike Craighead says that McNally has been diagnosed with a correctable biomechanical problem, and that with vigorous cross-training, should be able to return to competition for the end of the season and the entire post-season.
