The Brickley family had a good day at the Westmoreland County Championship Meet. Latrobe sophomore Liz Brickley captured the victory in the girl's varsity race outkicking Nikki Bielek from Greensburg Salem in a tight race. Latrobe also won the team competition over Kiski Area.
Julian Fiorina from Franklin Regional held off the elder Mark Brickley in the boy's race winning at the tape. Greensburg Central Catholic won a close team race over Franklin Regional and Greensburg Salem.
