Northeast Bradford continued to dominate the Class A division of District 4 in 2013, only to come up short in the defense of their state title. After the graduations of Sam Williams and Curt Jewett proved to be too much for last year’s team, six of that varsity return this season with the opportunity to win the state title back. Only one senior returns from that group, meaning a good season could set up yet another strong run at the top. Runners up Southern Columbia and 3rd place Wyalusing bring back full squads to the new season.

There will be a state title defense coming out of District 4 and that will be by individual champion Griffin Molino of South Williamsport. In 2013, Molino was the dominant force of the district and had one of the five best times at the state meet, breaking the 16 minute barrier in Hershey.
