Southern Fulton edged out a 3 point victory to win the District 5 Class A title. In 2014, they are one of two teams that bring back at least five runners. Celina Merchant will be the one to lead the champions this season. Southern Fulton have four runners who are in the top ten returners list for 2014, which will put them in the mix for the title.
The top returner this season goes to district runner up Kimberly Bischof of Chestnut Ridge. She has broken 21 minutes for her career, the only one in the division to do so. Maddie Sprankle of Johnstown Christian is the 2nd best returner and is a 2013 state qualifier.
