Champions Northern Potter will have a re-tooling project on their hands this season with only three of their top seven coming back from their 4th place state meet finish. Tim Adams will be asked to lead the way back to Hershey after running a seasonal best in the state final. Runners up Kane Area are in a similar predicament, graduating their top three from last year. Cranberry will look to take advantage by bringing back a top six that only had one senior and will be filled mostly of sophomores and juniors.
Individually, Gabe Trimbur of Coudersport returns as the top district finisher after a runner up finish. Isaac Wilson of North Clarion is the only returning state medalist in this division after finishing 20th last season. Drew Bille of Elk County Catholic and Liam Raehsler of Clarion will also look to challenge for the top spots this season.
