The district and state champions Saegertown are back to defend their crown in 2014 with five of the seven that brought home all the glory. The 2014 squad will be led by state medalists Brendon Barclay (18th) and Brad Amy (25th), but will have fierce competition chasing them for the district crown. Seneca and Mercyhurst Prep were top six team finishers at states last year. Seneca bring back their entire squad that finished 6th at states, while Mercyhurst Prep will bring back state bronze medalist Sebastian Curtain and three others from their 5th place team. West Middlesex bring back six of their top seven that will be led by two seniors and three juniors that will be ready to jump on any slip ups at the top.
