The defending Class A state champion Marianne Abdalah of Vincentian Academy is back to try and make it two titles in two attempts. Aislinn Devlin of Downingtown West was one of the big stories in District 1 last season with her impressive performances. Both Abdalah and Devlin are the only sub 18 minute runners in the sophomore class entering 2014. Tate Dawson and Hannah Morris of Central Bucks East are two of the driving forces leading the Patriots to heights they've never seen before. Likewise, Lexi and Maddy VanBlunk of Downingtown East are looking to bring their team back into the top five of District 1.
