In our PIAA Foundation girls results merge, the Class A
and AA individuals placed well against their AAA counterparts.
White race winner Marianne Abdalah (3rd), runner
up Emma Seifried (6th), and blue race winner Katie Dammer (8th)
and runner up Jordan Williams of Sharon all cracked the top ten overall times
from the meet. Nine of the top 20 times in the meet came from Class A or AA
runners.

The course is still difficult to run fast on, as only 15
runners broke 20 minutes, 8 of them coming from the AAA gold race. 73 girls
broke 21 minutes on the day.
On the team side, the smaller schools accounted for four
of the top ten finishes, including the overall top spot thanks to a 19 second
spread from Villa Maria Academy in the blue race. They scored 127, 74 points
better than gold race winners Perkiomen Valley. Abington Heights were 2nd
in the blue race, and finished 5th in the team merge, 24 points
ahead of white race winner and Class A champions Central Cambria. Vincenti...
