Chanel Brissett of Cheltenham ran the 60 meter hurdles at one meet last year. She came out with the top time. The 60 meter (no hurdles) champion was too busy cleaning up in the sprints to worry about the hurdles at states, though. Assuming Brissett continues to focus on the sprints and not the hurdles, we'll have a fairly wide open competition for 60 meter hurdles glory on the girls' side. Most of the top hurdlers from a year ago graduated and a lot of new blood will have to rise in the scene.
