There should be some great relays to look forward to at Knoch, but, of course, there will be a lot of attention on the host team's premiere athlete, Jordan Geist.

We saw the kind of season Geist put up indoors and if his progression continues, we'll be looking at an even more impressive outdoor season. The first step? Breaking Ron Semkiw's outdoor state record. That still sits at 70-1.75. Geist already threw 72-9.5 so we know he's got that in him. Will he waste any time getting there? We'll see.

Geist is also entered in the discus on Saturday, where he's favored. He'll be joined in both events by teammate Brennan McTighe and the two will look to go 1-2 in both events.

On the track, we'll get a full dosage of relays and possibly some nice early April times.

It's always hard to predict what direction teams will go in relays, but Seneca Valley should be a factor in the distance relays, led by Mike Kolor.

In the 1600, Butler's Noah Beveridge and Quaker Valley's Zach Skolnekovich will be a couple of the favorites to keep an eye on. Quaker Valley's Noah Berry will be the heavy favorite in the boys' high jump.

The girls' throws will also feature a couple of teammates who will look to go 1-2. The Moniteau duo of Maura Kimmel and Brittany Lindsay will look to sweep the shot put and discus.

In the 1600, Knoch's Mandi Moxi will look for a good start to her season having not raced since the state championships in cross country.

This relay meet will definitely one to keep an eye on all around.
