Bedford may not be the biggest meet on the radar for Saturday, but it will feature two of the state's best athletes.
Former US#1 and current US#2 Ethan Dabbs of Richland returns to the javelin runway at Bedford on Saturday. Dabbs, only a sophomore, will look to add to his 204-2 that vaulted him to the top of the state and national rankings at Altoona a few weeks ago. The next star of PA is only getting started in 2016.
Speaking of nationally ranked athletes, Tyrone's Erika Voyzey will compete in the high jump (among a few other events). Voyzey is also US#2 in the event after clearing 5-11 in a dual meet a few weeks back.
For the host team, Bedford's William Kachman is entered in the 800, 1600, and 3200, so we'll see what he opts to run.
Coming up from Maryland to contest the 800 and 1600 is Molly Offstein of Mountain Ridge High School. She'll be the top seed in both.
