Can Griffin Thompson keep it rolling?

What a season it's been for State College's Griffin Thompson. The senior entered outdoors with a PR of 15-0 in the pole vault, a height he cleared at indoor states. He continued to progress throughout the season, culminating with a huge win and PR at outdoor states. Thompson cleared 16-3 and just missed on 16-7, which would have been the state record.
Thompson will look to have another crack at some big clearances at NBNO where he'll face two of the greatest high school pole vaulters of all time. Armand Duplantis (LA) and Chris Nilsen (MO) have both incredibly gone over 18 feet. That may be a far cry for Thompson, but we'll see what the ever-improving Penn State-bound senior has in store for a career finale.
Also in the field from PA will be Hatboro-Horsham's Nick Marino (second in AAA states) and Hempfield's Hayden Fox (third in AAA states).
