Fast Fields Set for ServiceNow West Chester Mile

Upgrade to MileSplit Universal to gain access to WATCH LIVE on FloTrack!

We've seen some fast races this year at West Chester Henderson. But none will be faster than Thursday's ServiceNow West Chester Mile.

And now you can watch the race LIVE on FloTrack!

An elite field has been assembled for both the men's and women's races and it the Citizen's races leading up to the elite races should be fun as well! Some of the fastest milers not in Rio will toe the line under the lights at Henderson. The evening starts at 6:30, building up to the big show.

Spectator tickets for the race are $5, plus a $2 SignUp fee.

Here's a look at the fields:

Christy Cazzola

Lauren Johnson has the fastest PRs in the field and is fresh off a tremendous race at the Sir Walter Miler in North Carolina. She's the likely favorite, but it won't come without some competition from the likes of Nicole Tully, Rachel Schneider and Ashley Higginson.

Schneider is the defending champion in this race, running 4:31.04, but it will certainly take a faster time to win this time around. Higginson made the final in the 3k steeplechase at the Olympic Trials and was third in the race a year ago. Lipari, who competed collegiately at Villanova, was also in the race last year and took fourth.

Tully was a 5,000 meter finalist at the Trials and has the second best PR in the field behind Johnson.

Eight of these racers ran in the US Olympic Trials 1500 meters last month in an absolutely loaded field. The biggest name is Leo Manzano, who grabbed a silver in the 1500 at the London Olympics four years ago. Manzano finished fourth at the Trials in the event last month, so in lieu of Rio, he'll look for big race in West Chester.

Jack Bolas took the race a year ago, running 3:58.63 for the win over Ford Palmer, who was second in 3:59.30. Three guys went under four minutes last year, but it's a safe bet that many more will dip under this time around.

Kyle Merber has been in great form lately, winning the Sir Walter Miler last week and he'll definitely be one of the ones to keep an eye on. He was ninth in the finals at the Trials last month. Also in that OT final was Johnny Gregorek (sixth) and Daniel Winn (eighth). Those three will all have a good shot at the win on Thursday night.
