Downingtown West got off to a running start to its 2016 XC season at the Cherokee Challenge in Marlton, New Jersey. The boys pulled out the overall win, while the girls looked impressive, particularly in the senior race. PA#1 Aislinn Devlin and PA#20 Emma Planck took first and second respectively in their race, both running away from a strong field. Devlin clocked the fastest time of the day at 11:30, while Planck's 11:55 was the fifth best time of the day when you merge all the day's times together.
