Harrier Invitational (Pottstown, PA)

At Pottstown, in a different race format, it was another weekend of double wins for the Spring Ford girls and boys teams.

The girls were led by the individual winner, Isabella Marchini, who clocked the best 2 mile time of the day with a time of 11:48 over Boyertown Gillian Kasitz in the #1 and #2 runners' race. Gabriella Bamford ran 12:14 to take third overall. In the #3 and #4 runner's race Spring Ford's Emily Smith was first (12:32) and Sydney Galster (12:39). Julie Vledder and teammate Rachel Murphy took first and second in the #5, 6 and 7 runners' race. It was a near perfect score for the Spring Ford girls, which scored eight points. Owen J. Roberts was second with 23 points and Boyertown was third with 24 points.

In the boys' race, Liam Conway continued his terrific start to his junior season winning the top race in a 2 mile time of 9:43, pulling away from Souderton's Connor McMenamin, who ran 10:07 for second overall. But like, the girls, it was a dominating performance by the deep Spring Ford boys team. In the hot race, Jacob McKenna took third in 10:17 and Zach Smith was fifth in 10:23. Patrick Power and Shane Ainscoe went 1-2 in the #3 and #4 runner's race with times of 10:26 and 10:31.
