Noah Affolder of Carlisle picked up invite win #5 of the season, winning the Eastern States race at the Manhattan Invitational. Affolder was shooting for Ed Cheserek's meet record, but he was forced to run solo for a majority of the race. Affolder's time of 12:10 is, however, the fastest time at the meet by a Pennsylvania runner.
