Mount Lebanon went across state borders for the Legends Meet in Cortland, Ohio this past Saturday and the boys walked away as champions.
Mount Lebanon used a tight top five pack to take down Ohio teams Rocky River and Massilon-Perry in the Large Schools race. Bryce Brandenstein led the way, taking ninth in 16:10. Patrick Anderson and Thomas Cosentino were next across, taking spots 16 and 17. They scored 97 points in their winning effort. Watch an interview with their team and coach:

Mercyhurst Prep's Noah Curtin ran well in the Large Schools race to place fifth in 16:01. Curtin, who has only raced one other time this season (also in Ohio) looks to showing some strong fitness after not racing in the early going of the season. Mercyhurst Prep's Jimmy Zimmerman also looked strong, taking 15th in that race in 16:23.
