Boys' D11-A Recap
Tri-Valley didn't even have an XC team last year. Now they have a district champion. Wayne Reilly of Tri-Valley outlasted Mahanoy's Adam Soriano to grab the Class-A crown in the first race of the day at District 11.
Reilly timed in at 17:31 for the win. Soriano came across second in 17:35. Mahanoy captured the lone Class-A state qualifying spot and will head to Hershey next week. They scored just 26 points to beat last year's champs Notre Dame-East Stroudsburg, which had 60 points.
