What Senior Boys Have Improved the Most Since Freshmen Year in XC?

We saw some tremendous senior times this season in cross country. But how did those stars perform as freshmen? Some top PA boys saw some great improvements from ninth grade to twelfth grade, as we've watched them develop into some of the best runners in the state.

Below, we've listed runner's best senior times with their best freshmen times and we calculated the delta. Some names, in particular, stick out. Lower Merion's Matthew D'Aquila improved over five minutes from his freshman year. Class AA state champion, Ben Bumgarner of Waynesburg Central improved over four minutes from his first season, leading up to his state title.
