For a second straight year at Dickinson, South Williamsport's Katie Jones kept everyone waiting.
In the final event of the day in a meet that kept many teams away because of the snow, Jones was the last one standing in the girls' pole vault. It was worth the wait, though.
Jones cleared 12-6 in the pole vault---a US#2---to take the win. She took some good attempts at 13-0, which would have been an indoor PR for the Penn State signee. It was six inches better than how she performed at the opening Dickinson meet last winter.
