Ocean Breeze Invitational - GIRLS RELAYS RECAP
North Penn took over the US#1 spot in the 4x800 with a huge effort to win. The team of Ariana Gardizy, Jenna Webb, Natalie Kwortnik, and Mikaela Vlasic clocked a time of 9:15.92. Last year, North Penn took down the indoor state record at nationals. By the looks of things, it looks like the reigning state champs will have another crack at it after that effort.
Pennsylvania put on a show in the 4x400 meter relay on Sunday. Penn Wood entered as the state leaders, but Cheltenham got the best of them in a great race. The Panthers clocked a PA#1 3:51.06, putting its eggs in that basket rather than the 4x2, which they ran a week ago. Penn Wood was second in 3:55.66 and North Penn was third in 3:57.67.

In the 4x200 meter relay, North Penn was the lone Pennsylvania squad to qualify through to the finals. They ran an impressive 1:42.77, good enough for a PA#3.
