Noah Affolder has added another feather in his cap. The Carlisle senior was named the Gatorade Pennsylvania Boys' Cross Country Runner of the Year, which was announced yesterday.

After states, Affolder won the Foot Locker Northeast Regional race at Van Cortlandt Park for a second consecutive season. He placed sixth at Foot Locker Nationals. He was then selected to represent Team USA at the Great Edinburgh XCountry Challenge in Scotland. Affolder won the junior 6K title in a 19:29 against a talented international field.

Affolder is committed to Syracuse University for next fall, but he still has a full indoor and outdoor track season ahead of him.
