Andrew Rademacher cleared 16\" 4\" to win the boys pole vault at Kent State on March 7. The jump was an indoor pr and new PA state record, the fourth time he has set the record this season. Teammate Eric Sparks cleared 15\' 0\" for the second week in a row to finish second. Rademacher and Sparks both jump next weekend at the Nike Indoor Championships. Indiana\'s Caitlin Hewitt cleared 11-0 to win the girls\' Pole Vault, half a foot better than the Saturday before at States. She also long-jumped 16-03.75. Shaler senior John Balouris took 2nd in the 800 in 1:57.00. Fairview\'s Aryn Gruneisen was 2nd in the 1600 in 5:28.20. Hickory\'s Tara Mooney was 5th in the 200 at 27.06, and 8th in the 60 in 8.27.
