Spring Ford finished 2nd in the 4x200 Hall of Fame race with a time of 1:47.61. Lydia Ali, Radnor, finished a close 2nd to Velma Morant, Hempstead, in the Hall of Fame 55 dash 7.31 to 7.33. The girls 800 meter run was the highlight of the meet with a thrilling match-up between two of PA’s top middle-distance stars. Chloe Schmidt, State College, won with a great indoor time of 2:14.24 and Kalyn Fisher, Lewisburg, was just 2 seconds back with a time of 2:16.53. In the boys 800 Hempfield senior Kevin Hull finished first with a time of 2:01.25. Jordan Jenkins, New Oxford, outdistanced the 3200 field to win by 24 seconds in a time of 11:07.26. Sophia Ziemian, Lewisburg, won the 1600 with a time of 5:19.97. Two-time AA XC champ Joe Beveridge, Bishop McDevitt, won the 1600 run with a time of 4:36.27. Todd Postie, Milton High, won the pole vault with a height of 13-06.00. Barry Bowman, William Penn, won the high jump with a leap of 6-00. Shelley Black, Coughlin, won the 55 hurdles with a time of 8.76. Corey Young, Waynesboro, won the hurdle event for the boys with a time of 7.95. Ang Rothmiller, Hempfield, won the 55 dash with a time of 7.49 and Chris Houston, McDevitt, won the boys 55 with a time of 6.52.
In relay action Hempfield won the boys 4x400 with a time of 3:32.73. William Penn won the boys 4x200 with a time of 1:34.10. Abington Heights won the girls 4x200 with a time of 1:49.77. State College girls won the 4x800 with a time of 9:55.31.
