Do you know a High School Cross Country runner who you can nominate for the first-ever Most Inspiring Pennsylvania Cross Country athlete of the Year Award?
Pro runner Neely Spence Gracey is partnering with LaceLocker and PennTrackXC (PA-MileSplit) to find a deserving young athlete whose story exemplifies what the sport of distance running is all about. The team of the winner will receive a $1,000 donation through the school's athletic department. Details below.
How to nominate:
1-Email a short (2pg max) nomination story between Aug. 17th and Nov. 20th to neelyruns@gmail.com
2-Include your full name, phone number, and address

Honoring the stories that are not obvious. A focus on not necessarily the top athlete but on the obstacles overcome, the personal victories achieved, and the behind the scenes acts of inspiration.
