Saturday nigh, 3/13, Shana Woods from Poly, Long Beach, CA set the National Record for the girls' Pentathlon. She scored 3846 points to crush the old record of 3711, set by Loren Leaverton, Naaman-Forest, Garland, TX, in 1998.
Also under the record was Kate Sherman from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional who beat the old record by 6 points with a score of 3717.
Shana Woods runs the 800 on her way to a national record.
