NIN: Conestoga 4x8 #3 PA AT | Bailey, Adams, C. Lavong, Mallon shine | 16 All-Americans

Conestoga has become a distance relay powerhouse over the last several years, and every year they show up big at the end of the year.  This year the girls team placed 6th in the 4x800 to earn All-American status with a time of 9:11.48, the same time they ran last year indoors.  (In photo courtesy of Mona Ramadane)  The mark puts them in a three-way tie for PA #3 all-time, and only 3 seconds shy of William Penn's 9:08.69 from 2000.  The other times are 9:11.22, Perkiomen Valley (1982), 9:11.48, Hatboro Horsham (2004), and 9:11.48, Conestoga (2008).  Marta Klebe led off with a fantastic split of 2:14.5.  Dina Ramadane covered the second leg in 2:18.9.  Meghan Shanley completed the third leg in 2:22.6, and Kacie O'Neil closed out the anchor leg with a quick 2:14.9.  Conestoga was also 9th in the SMR with a time of 4:10.99.  In that relay Dana VanOcker and Shonte' Kenendy led off with 200 splits of 27.4 and 26.6.  Marta Klebe ran the 400 leg in 58.5 and Kacie O'Neil anchored the 800 leg in 2:18.1. 

Conestoga, running as the Irish Road TC, finished 5th in the SMR with a time of 3:34.51.  Curtis Baylis and Connor Tait started with the 200 legs in 23.1 and 23.3.  Tom Mayer ran the 400 leg in 51.1.  J.C. Rizzo ran the 800 leg in 1:56.6.  Conestoga boys were also 9th in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:24.30.

Shanae Bailey ran a time of 24.38 to finish 4th in the 200 dash and pick up a 3rd All-American certificate on the weekend. Swenson girls added to their medal count with a 3rd place finish in the 4x55 meter Shuttle Hurdle Relay. Swenson also earned their 3rd team All-American of the weekend with a 4th place showing in the girls 4x200 meter relay, running a time of 1:42.86.

Ashley Adams finished 2nd in the shot put with a heave of 43-11.75.

Baldwin finished 3rd in the boys 4x1 Mile Relay with a time of 18:06.52 to earn All-American status.

Tom Mallon earned 2nd place in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:53.29 to earn an All-American certificate. Central Bucks South finished 3rd in the boys 4x800 with a time of 7:51.33 to earn an All-American certificate.

Carlton Lavong finished 3rd in the long jump with a leap of 23-01.75 and John Cantwell was 5th with a leap of 22-04.50. Lavong was also 4th in the triple jump with a leap of 47-09.00.

Jordan Jenkins (In photo to right courtesy of Photorun.net) placed 4th in the 5000 meter run with a time of 17:31.16 to earn an All-American certificate.

John Cantwell, Council Rock South, finished 5th in the long jump with a leap of 22-04.50 to earn an All-American certificate.

Upper Dublin got the last All-American slot in the DMR with a 6th place time of 10:14.39.

Alison Day placed 5th in the high jump with a leap of 5-06.50.

Taylor Bumpas was 7th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:14.67, just missing the 6th and final All-American slot.

Tory Worthen finished 7th in the vault with a mark of 12-02.50.

Kyriq Williams finished 7th in the boys high jump with a leap of 6-07.00.

Central Bucks East finished 9th in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:44.17.

Dustin Wilson won the boys Freshman Mile with a time of 4:32.61.

Joe Beveridge won his section of the boys 2 mile with a time of 9:37.
