Gardizy Wins Again At Six Flags & More From A Big Week 5


Six Flags Wild Safari Invitational - Meet Recap

For the second time in her career, North Penn's Ariana Gardizy was a winner at Six Flags. The senior, who won there as a sophomore and placed second as a junior last year, ran 18:25 to capture to 5K win in the Varsity A Race in Jackson, NJ. That was also the day's fastest time of all the girls' races.

Her North Penn teammate Maeve Gimbert also ran well, placing fourth in a new PR of 19:42. Olivia Dyer took seventh in 20:08 as the North Penn girls took second in the team competition to NY's Kellenberg Memorial in the Varsity A Race.

In the Varsity E Race, Nazareth Academy's Ellen Annas placed seventh in a time of 20:50.

The Souderton boys ran well in the Varsity A Race. Junior Josiah Moyer led the way for the, taking ninth in 16:55. Tim Kennel wasn't far behind, earning 12th in a time of 17:01. Paul Boehm added a 14th place finish in 17:13 as Souderton took second to Kellenberg Memorial (NY).
