Can anyone stop Thelma Davies? Probably not. The Girard College phenom enters his junior season of indoor track and few have been able to beat her since she emerged onto the scene as a freshman in 2016. Since then, Davies has broken the state record in the 60 meters, a mark which she has since tied. She's won two 60 meter state titles indoors and last year she won the 200 meters (and that's not even getting started on her outdoor accolades). So the only question left is just how much faster can she go?
Davies is the nation's fastest returner in both the 60 and 55 meter dashes. She's yet to win a New Balance Nationals Indoor crown, so that is surely on the list. She's continued to show progression, evidenced by her 11.43 state record in the 100 meters from this past outdoor season. It's only up from here.
