The past few years seem to have been building to this.

Many of Pennsylvania's top long jumpers enter their senior year of competition looking to creep into the national picture. We watched the past few years as PA's best have risen from young phenoms to veterans poised to make their last one the best one.

At the top, there's three. There's the reigning indoor state champ, Brenna Cavanaugh of Bentworth, who had a huge breakthrough of a junior season. Cavanaugh went big---19-7.25---to capture the state title last winter. She'll look to approach that distance again this winter. She took third in AA at outdoor states, and has the talent to get back to the high 19s.

Upper Dublin's Madison Langley-Walker is a multi-time indoor state champ, but Cavanaugh pulled off the upset last winter. Langley-Walker won as a freshman and sophomore, but took second last season despite an indoor PR of 19-1.5. She went 19-5 outdoors and the Oklahoma recruit will look to break past 20 feet this winter.
