BOYS PREVIEW

Harrisburg's Ronald Kent will look for a strong start to his season. The talented sprinter is the top seed in the 55 meters, though he will get a run for his money from William Penn's Khalid Dorsey, who enters Saturday at PA#5 in the 60 meter dash. Both Kent and Dorsey will return for the 200 meters, where Cumberland Valley's Chase Ebersole is the top seed. Ebersole is also the top seed in the 400 meters.

In the 55-meter hurdles, watch for McConnellsburg's Josh Booth. He ran 7.70 (PA#3) earlier in the season in the event. He's also entered in the 400 meters as one to watch.

The top seed in the 3200 meters is Avon Grove's Noah Dusseau and he'll look for a quick time on Saturday.

In the shot put, Seth Wagner of Fleetwood Area will have his sights set on the 50 foot marker. He currently sits at PA#6 and just on the cusp of 50 feet with a best throw this season of 49-10.5. Harrisburg's Jakari Lomax will be the one to beat int he triple jump. He enters the weekend at PA#4 in the event.


GIRLS PREVIEW

Harrisburg's Jada Thompson, who opened up her season with a pair of wins at F&M in the sprints will look for another weekend of big performances. She's the top seed in both the 55 meters and the 200 meters.

Saturday will be the season debut of Abby Yourkavitch of Chambersburg. The senior and East Carolina recruit is the top seed in both the mile and the 800 meters, where she'll look to pick up a pair of victories. In the 3200 meters, High Point Baptist's Anna Steich (PA#10 in the 3K) will be the one to watch for.

Gettysburg's Hannah Baddick will look for a strong performance in the triple jump. She enters as the top seed. In the shot put, look out for Madisen Kling of Red Lion. She's the reigning outdoor state champ in the discus, so she'll be looking to start her season off well in the discus.
