CB South took down Wissahickon's 7:36.24 from 1982. 10 teams ran under 7:50!! Upper Dublin was 2nd in 7:40.04, West Chester Henderson 3rd, 7:42.01, North Penn 4th, 7:42.47, Penncrest 5th, 7:42.67, Souderton Area 6th, 7:43.69, Carlisle 7th, 7:44.20, Baldwin 8th, 7:45.44, Abington 9th, 7:47.68, LaSalle 10th, 7:49.80. Conestoga girls won the AAA 4x800 with a time of 9:09.94. Lewisburg won the AA Girls 4x800 with a time of 9:23.87. Quaker Valley boys won the AA 4x800 of with a time of 7:58.69.
Shanae Bailey, Swenson, won her third straight AA 100 and 200 titles with times of 11.86 and 24.53. Rayiana Johnson, Chester, won the AAA 100 and 200 dashes with times of 12.04 and 24.52. Pierre Carr, Peabody, defended his AAA 100 dash title with a time of 10.56 and added a AAA 200 dash title with a time of 21.35.
Michael Brown, Lower Dauphin, won the AAA Boys 300 Hurdles with a time of 37.20. Alysha Cook, Harrisburg, won the 100 hurldes in 13.89. Leah Nugent, Abington, won the AAA Girls 300 Hurdles with a time of 41.46, tying Ryann Krais' PIAA record from 2006. Nugent also anchored the AAA 4x400 squad to victory with a time of 3:49.54.
Paul Robeson won the AAA Girls 4x400 with a PIAA record of 3:52.04. Wyomissing won the AA Boys 4x400 with a time of 3:19.54. Altoona won the AAA Boys 4x400 with a time of 3:16.42. Abington won the race but was DQ'ed on a lane violation.
Jimmy Tarsnane, Perkiomen Valley, won the AAA boys 3200 meter run with a last lap of :59 to overtake Ben Furcht, Lower Merion, 9:04.22 to 9:04.55. Joe Beveridge, Bishop McDevitt, won the AA boys race in 9:19.89. Lauren Zarger, Harbor Creek, won the AA race with a time of 10:34.99. Leslie Kovach, Norwin, won the AAA girls race with a time of 10:35.19. Sam Havko, Fairview, won the AA Boys 1600 meter run with a time of 4:10.17 and the AA Boys 800 meter run with a time of 1:52.78. Michael Palmisano, Upper Dublin, won the AAA Boys 1600 with a time of 4:13.93. Natalie Bower, Greater Latrobe, won the AAA Girls 1600 with a time of 4:52.65.
Brittany Wallace, Penn Wood, won the AAA girls 400 with a time of 55.08. Lamont Fowler, Conrad Weiser, won the AAA boys 400 with a time of 46.91.
Saturday field updates here: Wesley Lavong, Methacton, came back in a big way after fouling the discus yesterday, with a throw in the shot put of 64-1.25 for the win. Ashley Corum defended her title in the Girls AAA Triple Jump with a last jump mark of 41-9.50. Tyrell Ellison, Muhlenberg, added to his triple jump by winning the AAA boys high jump with a leap of 6-10. Fawn Miller, Fairview, won the AA girls javelin throw with a mark of 151-9. Ashley Adams, Freedom Area, added to her discus title by winning the AA girls shot put with a throw of 44-7.50. Justin Shirk, Central Dauphin, won the AAA boys javelin throw with a mark of 212-10. David Patzer, Hempfield, won the AAA boys pole vault with a leap of 15-00.
