Plus word from the Penn Relays via Walt Murphy: Dan Doherty, the NY Girls Chairman , spoke to Lloyd Mott, the Sanctioning Officer of the NYSPHAA, who told him that since it's so close to the Relays, NY schools and individuals competing in the affected events ((Boys Distance Medley, 400 hurdles, shot put; Girls Mile, 3000, 400 hurdles) would NOT be penalized if they competed against others who were not members of their respective State Federations.
