2009 Central Dauphin javelin star Justin Shirk has signed his National Letter of Intent to study and compete at Oklahoma University in Norman. Shirk had previously commited to Division II Bloomsburg University to play football and compete in the javelin. However, when he threw a monster then-#2 all-time 235-3 at the Cedar Cliff Relays, he was flooded with Division I interest.
